The website for the 2013 ISHR conference, including online registration, is now active HERE.
Please note that we have combined the banquet (usually on Saturday) with the excursion (usually on Sunday). The dinner cruise on Friday night will serve as both the banquet and the excursion. Click here for additional information. We hope that many of you will be able to attend this event.
The conference will take place at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza, and we have negotiated a special conference rate of $159 (plus tax) for rooms in this hotel. Click here for instructions on how to book a room. The hotel has set aside enough rooms to accommodate all conference participants who make their booking no later than 23 June.
The ISHR conference website also has a link to the schematic program and to the names of all of those who will present papers and the titles of their papers: see ISHR 2013 Conference Program. Abstracts of the papers will be made available to all conference registrants in May. The official program will replace the schematic program in May, once all presenters have registered for the conference.
It is a good idea to book your flight to Chicago well in advance since ticket prices are usually at their highest during the summer months. Also, please be aware that non-US citizens must apply for authorization to travel to the US; this authorization must be purchased via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA): https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/.
In the weeks ahead we will continue to add new information to the conference website (about transportation to the hotel, things to do in Chicago, etc.). Please let us know if we have omitted any important information.
