RSA Conference Registration Now Open!
The Conference Co-chairs are pleased to announce that registration for the May 31 - June 3, 2018 Conference is now officially open. To register, follow this link to the RSA website, http://ishr-web.org/aws/RSA/pt/sp/conference_registration
Hotel registration is open, as well. You can obtain information about the Downtown Minneapolis Hilton Hotel from the “Hotel Info” tab under the Conferences menu option at http://rhetoricsociety.org. To reserve a room immediately, go to https://aws.passkey.com/go/2018RSAConference or phone 1-800-774-1500 and use the Group Code “RSA”. Room rates for the conference are: Singles (1-bed $129), Doubles (2-beds $129), Suites ($179).
You will receive a second email from us by the end of the day tomorrow if we notified you in October that your paper or panel submission was accepted for presentation. In addition, the second email will provide you with a means to RSVP your attendance and view the day and time we scheduled your submission. Please note that changes to the conference program are still possible. As individuals decline our invitation or conflicts emerge in the schedule, we will need to shift panels and papers slightly. However, if your paper or panel is moved, the Co-chairs will notify you immediately. We are asking that you RSVP to our invitation before December 15.
Finally, we want to remind you that registration remains open for the workshops and seminars that will take place on May 30 and May 31st. These events include a RSA/ISHR seminar on “The Sublime,” a career retreat for associate professors, a workshop on leadership, and a workshop for contingent faculty. Descriptions are located on the rhetoricsociety.org website HERE. In addition, we will soon announce a Thursday evening, off-site event and reception at the University of Minnesota that we think you will love.
So, be sure to register for the conference right away. Regular registration will proceed from today until March 1, 2018 at which time the fees will increase by $15. On-site registration will be possible, but that will incur an additional $15 charge, so don’t delay.
See you in Minneapolis,
