Chatting the Pictures

Chatting the Pictures is a ten-minute, biweekly webcast that analyzes how news photos tell stories and push the visual boundaries to illuminate ideas and current events. Launched in early 2018 and available widely via social media platforms, the webcast brings analysis of visual rhetoric to a broad public audience interested in politics, news, and the media. It is an especially helpful resource for introducing students to fundamentals of image analysis and critique.
