KENDALL PHILLIPS NAMED RSA PRESIDENT-ELECT;
RSA ANNOUNCES CANDIDATES FOR 2011 ELECTION
At its Spring meeting, in accordance with the RSA bylaws, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the Nominating Committee’s recommendation that Kendall Phillips, Syracuse University, be named as RSA President-Elect. Phillips is currently completing a four-year term on the RSA Board. He will become President-Elect on January 1, 2012 and will serve as President during 2014 and 2015.
The Board also unanimously approved the Nominating Committee’s recommendations for candidates for Board positions to be chosen in the Fall 2011 election. The election will take place between September 15 and October 15. You will be notified when the ballot and candidate statements are available.
The candidates are:

A package of proposed changes to the RSA Bylaws also will be on the Fall election ballot. Information regarding these proposals will be made available along with the ballot.
The Nominating Committee was chaired by Past President Jack Selzer, Penn State University, and included Cara Finnegan, University of Illinois, and Jeffrey Walker, University of Texas.
