RSA Announces New Executive Director
Gregory Clark to begin July 1, 2008
Colleagues:
It gives me great pleasure to announce that Gregory Clark, Brigham Young University (and of course a recent editor of RSQ), has agreed to accept our invitation to serve as Executive Director of the Rhetoric Society of America, beginning July 1. He succeeds David Henry, the first RSA Executive Director, and he and David will immediately begin the transition process. The Society has been fortunate to enjoy David's dedicated service, and it is equally fortunate that we will now have Greg Clark is this important role. In addition to managing the Society's affairs (e.g., preparing and monitoring budgets, overseeing site selection processes, reviewing contracts), Professor Clark will supply continuing strategic leadership and direction to the Society.
I thank the search committee (Diane Davis, Gerard Hauser, Michael Leff, chair) for their work in securing this appointment.
