Book Review Editor
Beginning with the 2005 volume, Rhetoric Society Quarterly will need a new Book Review Editor. Nominations are invited for this position, and self-nominations are encouraged. The deadline for submission of nominations is August 1, 2004.
The Book Review Editor has full editorial control of the book review section of every issue of Rhetoric Society Quarterly. In the recent past, the journal has published the equivalent of four or five book reviews per issue.
This Book Review Editor selects books for review; solicits reviewers; receives, evaluates, and edits manuscripts; and then sends them to RSQ Editor for publication. In consultation with the Editor, the Book Review Editor may augment book reviews with other forms, ranging from review essays, to colloquies between authors and readers, to regular listings of important recent books in rhetoric.
The new Book Review Editor will be appointed to serve in this position beginning with the Winter 2005 issue and continuing through the Fall 2007 issue. for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 volumes of the journal.
