ISHR Call for new Council and various sub-committee members.

The Nominating Committee has announced a call for the replacement of retiring members from the ISHR Council.

Dear Members.

The Nominating Committee has announced a call for the replacement of retiring members from the ISHR Council (https://ishr-web.org/aws/ISHR/pt/sp/board ). We especially are seeking nominations and self-nominations from the following regions (by either citizenship or workplace): Asia, BeNeLux, France, South America, Spain/Portugal, the UK, and the U.S. 

We are also searching for new members for the Prize Committee (native or near-native speakers of Italian, Spanish, French and English) and the Research Grants Committee (native or near-native speakers of Italian, Spanish and French).

The term of office for all posts is four years. 

Last but not least, we are looking for an international vice-president who'd organise the 2029 ISHR Congress in Europe, among other duties and a new editor of Rhetorica.

Please submit all nominations (including self-nominations) by 15 March 2025. With your nomination email, please include a short version of the nominee's CV. 

Nominations should be sent directly to the chair of the nominating committee, Janika Päll: janika.pall@ut.ee.

Nominations for Vice President should go to Dr. Vanessa Lim (vanessalim@snu.ac.kr), member of the Nominating Committee.

The duties of the committee and the council members are described in the ISHR Statutes and the Constitution.
