The conference takes place at the South Campus/Søndre Campus of the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). South Campus is close to the metro station Islands Brygge (see map of central Copenhagen  next page).

Here is a map of the metro stations in English (the green M1 line will get you to the stop Islands Brygge close to our venue at South Campus). It’s very easy to get around in Copenhagen with the metro, walking or biking (many hotels have bikes for the guests). It’s possible to rent bikes for example at Baisikeli.

There are hundreds of hotels in Copenhagen, most of them quite busy, so we advise you to make reservations well ahead of the conference. Here are just a few options, with good locations and fair prices:

Budget:

Steel House (hotel and hostel).

Next House Copenhagen (“luxury hostel”).

The cheapest hotel chain is Cabinn.

The three Wake Up Hotels in Copenhagen are all conveniently located.

Dan Hostel Copenhagen (great location, also apartments and private rooms)

Zoku House is very close to campus

Budget-midrange hotels:

Small hotel chain Guldsmeden (Bryggen Guldsmeden is a 10 minutes walk from our location).

Motel One (also walking/cycling distance).

The location of DGI Hotel is good.

The Scandic chain is huge. Scandic Spectrum is centrally located.

This Scandic hotel, Scandic Kødbyen (the old meatpacking district), is central as well.

Hotel Kanalhuset, in charming Christianshavn and 400 meters from metrostation Christianshavn

Hotel Arthur and Hotel Ipsen are situated close to the historic centre and close to metro stations (so more convenient than might be thought from looking at a map).

Midrange to expensive hotels:

Coco Hotel (including 20% discount on 18 Cofoco restaurants).

Hotel Bella Grande.

More expensive options are NH Collection and Hotel Villa (both perfect locations).

Indreby

Indre by = the historic center

Københavns Hovedbanegård = the central railway station (14 minutes with train from the airport)

Notice that the area east of South Campus is closer to the airport but much less charming, with newly built residential areas and windy streets …
